Vince:

I’m just kind of lost right now…
I don’t know what to do with my life or where I want to go…
I’m just trying to build out to where I can get my ID and set up a bank account, and everything. Try to get out of this homelessness and actually become a regular citizen.
— Vince

Over the last 6 months or so I have slowly gotten to know Vince. We first met when I had the garage door at Uncoded Studio open for Arts Alive or another Old Town Eureka function.

Vice has a particular charm, I told him he was welcome to stop in and say hello if the door was ever open and he has taken advantage of the opportunity a number of times. Vince is the first to admit he has demons to overcome, but he is genuinely friendly in my experience, and he is a hustler, always scouting for work. He is keen on repairs, painting, demolition, construction, and landscape maintenance to name a few.
